Singer-songwriter Con Murphy from Mayo, Ireland. His debut single ‘Don’t Freak Out’ was officially released on all digital platform on the 26th of August 2017 and is the first track of a catalogue of works from the past decade. Lough Lannagh, Castlebar Co.Mayo

Just outside the busy town of Castlebar is the fascinating lake of Lough Lannagh. The Lake is surrounded by an elegant walkway, part of the Great Western Greenway extending its path across the length of Ireland’s Atlantic coast between Westport town and Achill Island. This 1.9 km route includes a monumental bridge that lights up its course by night and becomes a focal point in the day,  framing the foreground of the iconic picturesque view of Croagh Patrick. During the day this facility caters for all, playgrounds for youth, pathways for walkers and cyclists, as well as a place in a vibrant community to meet with family and friends. The Lough Lannagh grounds are also home to wildlife, birds, fish, ducks, swans and many more. Lough Lannagh also provides facilities such as a spacious car park, Lough Lannagh village (4.5 Stars on Tripadvisor), the Greenway Café, Tennis courts and the Mayo Peace Park. However, at night, the whole atmosphere changes it becomes more peaceful than it already is.

The battle between the English and French, Humbert’s plan was to ambush the British garrison at Castlebar by a surprise attack. However, a local farmer warned the British about an advancing army! The British fled the attack Leaving Castlebar behind them and advancing onto Tuam.
